Over-the-Rhine mixed-use
This Italianate building sits in the middle of the Over-the-Rhine historic district across from Findlay Market. Built around 1880, it originally housed multiple business including furniture and millenary fabrication. Original features included non-plastered walls and part of an intricate staircase, along with a spectacular iron and stone facade.. Over the years, the interior was altered many times while the exterior became more rundown. By the early 2000's, it was mostly vacant and had undergone a number of insensitive renovations. The current owner began a full renovation in 2011. The building was completed and reoccupied in 2014 through the use of state and national historic tax credits which we helped obtain, and achieved a LEED Gold rating.
Plans
A two story restaurant space was created on the basement and first floor levels, with new operable windows in the historic storefront. The second floor was split into two office suites, while four apartments were created on the third and fourth floors. A new exterior stair was built at the rear to provide fire egress and exterior space.
